When it arrived, it was wrinkled and I really did think o was going to like it. I don’t, I LOVE IT!! Lightweight, breathable, and comfortable.Usually don’t like Velcro straps on hats, but this Velcro makes no noise and is super strong, I just love it.I’m a geologist and always on different sites, love this hat and getting the black one soon.

After a 4 day, late June rim to rim hike in the Grand Canyon, I can undoubtedly say this was the best item I had with me. I had never been in desert conditions before, so I was taking every precaution that I could to prevent heat-related illnesses. Without this Mission scarf, I am not sure that my hike would have resulted in success. Temperatures reached 135, and it was definitely a feat of endurance to "keep your cool". This Mission scarf caught my sweat before it had a chance to evaporate, so I would snap it while I was hiking for quick refrigerant effects. When I was at a water source, and I used the scarf after immersion, it was like entering a world of relief. Often times I'd pass people on the trail with cotton towels pinned under caps, and it looked inconvenient in comparison to the cool wrap of my Mission scarf. I would recommend this product a million times over.

I take it everywhere - hiking, kayaking, to the beach, etc. I like how I can get it wet and it doesn’t lose all its shape. It dries out quickly. Sweat salt spots? Just wipe em off with a damp cloth. Found this first at Home Depot but lost it so I ordered another from Amazon bc HD didn’t carry them anymore

I have a very small head and it is hard for me to find a hat that fits or is adjustable to make small enough to fit my tiny noggin.

Wore this hat on my first backpacking trip. It fit well, was lightweight and adjustable, kept me cool and covered, you can flip the front up or down. It washes well and keeps its shape.
