Award winning actress and producer Nicole Kidman has won over the hearts of audiences across the world for her daring and captivating work across the big and small screen.
In 2003, Kidman won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in THE HOURS, for which she also won a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award. She has also been nominated for an Academy Award for her performances in MOULIN ROUGE, RABBIT HOLE, LION, and BEING THE RICARDOS.
Her other notable films include DEAD CALM, TO DIE FOR, PRACTICAL MAGIC, EYES WIDE SHUT, THE OTHERS, DOGVILLE, BIRTH, THE PAPERBOY, KILLING OF A SACRED DEER, THE BEGUILED, DESTROYER, BOY ERASED, AQUAMAN, THE NORTHMAN, BEING THE RICARDOS and A FAMILY AFFAIR. Most recently, Kidman was seen in BABYGIRL, for which she won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival and was named Best Actress by the National Board of Review.
Kidman has also had success in television. Most notably, she starred in and co-executive produced the limited series BIG LITTLE LIES, for which she received Emmy, Golden Globe, Critics Choice and SAG awards. Her other television credits include HEMINGWAY AND GELHORN, THE UNDOING, NINE PERFECT STRANGERS, ROAR, EXPATS, LIONESS and THE PERFECT COUPLE.
Kidman was awarded Australia’s highest honor in 2006 and serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women. She and her husband support the Women’s Cancer Program at Stanford and the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. In 2017, the Cannes Film Festival honored Kidman with a special award for her body of work. In 2024, she became the first Australian to receive the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
