Bic Lands Debut #1 Aotearoa Album

'Red Sunset' gives Bic Runga her first ever Aotearoa Album Chart #1, 6 weeks after the album was released. Her previous highest chart position was with 'Belle' back in 2011. That peaked at #3. The dedicated Aotearoa Artists section of the charts did not exist back at the time of Bic's earlier #1 albums in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Another record that climbs to the top spot is 'hint' by Frankie Venter. The new #1 on the Hot 20 Aoteaora Singles Chart first charted at the end of February. It is business as usual atop the Official Singles and Album Charts, as Olivia Dean once again leads the way. Te Matatini And Te Kuru Marutea return to #1 on the Te Reo Maori Singles Chart and Ye lands a fifth #1 on the Hot Chart. Te Wehi And Hori Shaw maintain their grip on the Aotearoa Singles Chart
