Linux download speed
I'm on garuda linux (arch) and I have a 1Gbps wired internet connection. I reach this limit with a speed test or by downloading files in my browser or by downloading games in other game clients.
When I download a game in steam (pacman package), the speed starts ok but drops to 10-20MB/s after a few seconds.
When steam downloads a game from another computer on the same lan, I get full speed ("Game file transfert over local network" enabled)

It's understandable why demo's don't have a Proton version associated but it is so annoying, especially as more games are encouraged to provide demos. Please just force Proton Experimental so I don't have to do it for each game!!
Trying out 3.8 on my main PC and it mostly works just fine.
Games seem to hang for like 30 seconds before they launch, and performance is quite a bit lower than nobara or cachyOS.
But the HUGE gripe is the desktop mode seems to assume the mouse wheel is ALWAYS being spun.
If you mouse over ANY sliders, they instantly max out, if you hit Ctrl C to copy something, the web page zooms into 500%.
Not sure what is causing it or how to give more useful logs, but dang is it annoying....
Microsoft Gaming Services issue on Forza Motorsport
I first bought it and asked for a refund because I thought it didn't work in Proton steam (I am using Ubuntu), but soon I found it does, but not working for me.
