The Schlesinger Library at Harvard Radcliffe Institute has acquired the papers of Black lesbian feminist writer, activist, and publisher Barbara Smith, according to an announcement from the institute.
Nominations are now open for two LGBTQ business awards hosted by the Boston Business Journal (BBJ), with a submission deadline of March 27, according to the publication's nomination announcements.
These Oscars will go down as "The Night They Drove Old Timmy Down".
This is supposed to be the fun, frothy, frilly column that delivers some entertainment news, some industry dish, and a few chuckles.
