Welcome to the website of the CGO 2026 conference.

The IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Code Generation and Optimization (CGO) provides a premier venue to bring together researchers and practitioners working at the interface of hardware and software on a wide range of optimization and code generation techniques and related issues. The conference spans the spectrum from purely static to fully dynamic approaches, and from pure software-based methods to specific architectural features and support for code generation and optimization.

CGO will be held in Sydney, Australia from 31st January – 4th February 2026 and will be co-located as part of HPCA/CGO/PPoPP/CC 2026.

Details about the venue and how to get there are here. The registration desk is on the ground floor near the main entrance on Iron Wharf Place, next to the Sofitel hotel. The full schedule for the registration desk is available here.

You can collect your badge from the registration desk from 7:45am onwards on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and from 8:15am onwards on Tuesday and Wednesday. The registration desk will be open on Sunday evening prior to the Welcome Reception in the Parkside Ballroom, to which all registered attendees are invited.
