This isn't such a music centric post, just an introduction... Hi, my name is Julia.

Ahh, the 90's... Is it just me, or did things seem much more fun back then? I was a little girl back then, but I used to watch my sister go out with all her awesome friends who were into alternative music. I still have a passion for the sounds and aesthetic of the 90's. Why did things have to change? Oh gosh, I sound like one of those parents stuck in the 60's or 70's. Sad.

Here is one of my favorite bands from the 90's I still listen to all the time, The Cardigans. I know they're a far cry from the grunge bands of the 90's we all know and love, but I really love this band. I think they had a really unique sound with a lot of different influences. Nina Persson is so pretty too.

So yeah that's my introduction, nice to meet everyone!

so how do people feel about Sublime lately? they've been trying to get brad's estate to let them use the name. some people like this. some people really don't. what are your opinions? i have mixed feelings. i do believe that it is not fully right without bradley, but i think the name Sublime should live on. i mean what can they do? he died, so now what? it's 13 years later...what next? brad's wife and kid encourage them playing sublime songs, but are real pissed at them using the word Sublime. i think they're being stubborn, but at the same time, i don't blame them for being touchy about it.

discuss....or are you all "grungers"? show some love for the ska/cali 90s scene people! it wasn't all about mr. cobain, dude.
