ALAN MANN RACING WAS ONE OF THE GREAT FORD MOTORSPORT LEGENDS THROUGHOUT THE 1960S.

Ford motorsport legends are defined by their achievements – and Alan Mann Racing is no exception. Founded in 1964 by racer and engineer Alan Mann, the team quickly became a dominant force in international motorsport.

Winning with Ford

During the mid-1960s, Alan Mann Racing earned victories in the British Saloon Car Championship, the European Touring Car Challenge, and even the FIA World GT Championship. These wins, achieved with specially prepared Ford cars, helped build a reputation that still stands today.

Back on Track

In 2004, Alan Mann revived the team. However, this time, the focus was different. Instead of factory racing, the team shifted to restoring and preparing historic race cars for private collectors. Today, Alan Mann Racing remains dedicated to preserving the history of Ford motorsport legends. Through expert craftsmanship and a deep passion for performance, the team keeps these iconic machines alive—on the track and in memory.

Boreham Motorworks x Alan Mann Racing

In 2024, Alan Mann Racing joined Boreham Motorworks as their in-house high-performance division. In its 60th year, Alan Mann Racing expanded its presence, combining Boreham Motorworks’ meticulous craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology with the Alan Mann’s renowned motorsport and Ford expertise.

Together, they aim to preserve the spirit of high-performance excellence while pushing forward Boreham Motorworks’ automotive road and race development in official partnership with Ford Motor Company. The first of these being the all-new Ford Escort Alan Mann 68 Edition.
