Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we donβt use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I would not recommend this book at all to anyone interested in data science. I had to read this book because it was a mandatory reading for a class in the graduate school program I am currently in. The author fills the pages with a tremendous amount of irrelevant information, fluff, clichΓ©s and personal stories from an outdated podcast of his. The information provided is so general, basic and high level that it borders on useless. I would have much rather spent my time doing an online course in data science, there are many programs such as datacamp, udemy, etc. Please dont read this book unless you are forced to
The book describes the intuition of many algorithms without focusing on the details so the reader can get the idea of when to apply each of them and how they work in general. I think it's a great addition to everyone even more advanced professionals, since it can help explain and transfer the knowledge to less experience people
Everything come sense to me to update my statistics knowledge. Now machine learning can help us to improve everything.
