Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Learn more how customers reviews work on AmazonInitial impressions was cool. The glasses felt premium and it was cool to see a huge screen in front of you. Functionality wise, I used it mostly to watch movies streamed from my ipad. It’s nice to be able to lie back and enjoy a movie. A little like a black mirror episode :). These things work great on a plane; no more worrying about how to position or hold the iPad.
The FOV is good, but don’t expect it to be like a VR goggle. You can still see things from the sides and below.
The audio was pretty good, but you also have the ipad/iphone output the audio to your choice of headphones as well.
The frames themselves can be adjusted a little which was cool.
The weight of the glass was not noticeable, even after several hours of use. They do get a little warm, but not uncomfortable.
The case it comes with is nice, but doesn’t really have room for the connection cable. You can squeeze it in there, but it’s a task and I worry about scratching up the lenses.
Comparing against VR, these are just a different beast. They work as a secondary display to whatever you are connected to rather than VR being a whole new machine. This means that whatever games/movies/controls you are used to work with this device. Its small form factor makes it highly portable. The tradeoff is that the experience is less immersive; the outside world is still there.
Overall, it is expensive but a premium product. Less immersive than VR goggles, but way more accessible/easy to use. I see myself using these much more than my VR glasses since it is just a matter of plugging it in and ready to go.
After a few uses the screen did flicker once or twice, but hasn’t done it since. I wrote that off.
Unfortunately, I noticed a dead pixel so am working with them to exchange it. Hopefully, it isn’t a painful process.
Updated rating:
The exchange process has been smooth so far. The seller has been very responsive. Return label was generated quickly and now waiting on the new pair.
After a few weeks:
These glasses are awesome. I’ve shown 4 friends and 3 of them went out and bought one. Really enjoying them.
Quick Tip: adjusting your IPD helps a lot if you run into blurriness issues on the sides. There are free IPD measuring apps and you can configure it on the XReal glasses.
Updates review.
It has now been over a month with these glasses and I am still super impressed. For work, I get a huge screen and privacy on the go. Easily connects to my laptop and I can code on them for several hours without any fatigue. For gaming, playing BF6 has been awesome. When I need to unwind, I’ll connect it to my Nintendo Switch and play some BoTW. I honestly use these every day.
These are absolutely incredible. This company is amazing. I have the first-gen glasses under the name Nreal. And after a couple years passed, I actually purchased these ones as well. The reason being is that, instead of needing new technology, they got a firmware upgrade and had great quality of life changes. The biggest one being that you can have 3D on anything you plug into the glasses - old pictures, videos, gaming, everything. It's an amazing depth perception. You could live without it, but it's here and it's applicable, and it's not glitchy, so it's amazing. The other features that are amazing are making an ultra-wide screen, so you could look back and forth. You could leave a screen in a certain room and walk away and come back to it, or you could have it follow your head, so you can tilt it and it'll still be straight. But it works amazing. The transition glasses are awesome because it makes it absolutely dark enough whenever you need it. And it's just a really good buy. This is a good pair. There are other glasses out there, but this company is the OG, and they perfected it.
I’d rate these about a 4.5 out of 5 if I could. The glasses do get a bit warm on the face, though a small fan helps keep that under control. They also leave red marks on the bridge of my nose from the weight, but that’s a tradeoff I’ll take for the huge, wide-screen display.
The best part is being able to work in the dark without disturbing my wife or kids. They don’t see my screen, and I don’t have to worry about little ones peeking over my shoulder at my movies.
Audio is decent but not amazing—better than expected, but not impressive. The mic quality is excellent, especially for Teams meetings. Bonus: jumping on a webcam while wearing these is hilarious—I look like Ray Charles every time.
Not perfect, but a really solid experience overall.
I will change this review when I buy the stupid thunderbolt cable. APPARENTLY YOU NEED A THUNDERBOLT TYPE C cable to use this thing AND IT DOESNT COME WITH IT. So I just have glasses that don't connect on any regular type c cable. I will have to drive to best buy, buy the cable and then write my review. So for now, this aggravating decision to lock me out of the product I just purchased will be 1 star. I also bought the hub and the beam and none of these connect with this device.
XREAL One AR Glasses – Hands-On Review
The XREAL One AR Glasses offer a stylish and compact take on augmented reality wearables, striking a solid balance between form and function.
Design & Comfort
These glasses boast a sleek sunglasses-style design that feels lightweight and comfortable for extended use. The included adjustable nose pads and detachable temples (for connecting a tether) make them more user-friendly and wearable than many bulkier competitors.
Display & Visuals
The XREAL One delivers vibrant visuals via micro-OLED displays with up to Full HD per eye. It’s excellent for immersive video watching and light AR applications. The screen clarity is good, though not quite on par with true mixed-reality headsets like the Meta Quest Pro or Apple Vision Pro. However, for a plug-and-play AR experience, it’s impressive. The XREAL One AR Glasses are a cutting-edge entry into the spatial computing and AR space, packing power, performance, and portability into a pair of sleek wearable displays. Designed to pair effortlessly with popular devices like the iPhone 16/15, Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Mac, Android, and Windows PCs, these glasses offer a high-end viewing experience in a discreet and comfortable form.

Compared price to Meta quest 3! This is better than Nreal and Xreal older version but when i plugged it to my computer im surprise to see reduced image quality(Even when i adjusted both the size and distance). I was trying to read smaller text and i couldn't read them, while on my computer screen its perfectly readable. This gave me headache and eye strain. So is it crisp as the description says? Absolutely not. At this point 500usd is just asking for too much, compare to Meta quest, which got so much more functionality without wire and witout needing outside devices. Unlike meta quest 3 which i use for hours, i cant say the same for Xreal one coz it gives me headache. Meta Quest 3 is still better in watching movies for multple reasons, coz can change environments and text are easily magnifiable.
For 500 usd this device should be...
1) A stand alone device not needing other devices.
2) No blurry small texts even after size and distance were adjusted.
3) Cannot compete with Meta quest 3 for the same price coz of multiple functionality.
4) Larger inner lenses. Looking inside small lenses is a chore coz how small the lenses are. Meta quest 3 does better job on this. I think this is also where my headache came from.
5) No power supply. Its sure to drain your phone battery.
Yeah nothing about these looks 'cool' on your face. They sit a couple inches away from your eyes but dang do they work well! The adjustments you can make are great between a fixed position, follow, wide-screen, and mini screen off to the side. and I like them better than the meta glasses I have. Also bought some cheap oversees brand and this is by far the best value. No issues with connecting to my macbook, my steamdeck, or my iphone. Playing games on my steam deck at night or watching a movie on my phone is great. They also have built in speakers on the stocks with pretty decent sound quality.
You can adjust the brightness, you can adjust the transparency of the display, the readability is good (I play a lot of RPGs with text) and they're working flawlessly after several months. I'm a big fan of xreal. My only complaint is now they have a newer model that's more affordable and has better features.
Just picked up the XReal One and I have been pretty impressed with how useful it’s been in my daily life. It’s nice and light weight and easily put in my backpack and go. Picture having a monitor or a big screen TV while moving through your normal day. I can just lay back and have whatever is on my phone or TV mirrored. No more neck strain. The display is pretty crisp for the price and Bose audio is not too shabby. I love that it is plug and play. I’m still learning more about it but definitely great for work or personal use. I haven’t tried gaming on it yet but it should be fun to try out. The only knock on the glasses is that it has to be tethered to your device which can drain your device battery. But overall, it’s one of the best gadgets I’ve gotten that I find very useful.
I put these on while washing my dishes. Also used it to watch a movie while laying on my bed.
Pretty good/10
You can download the "sunshine" and "moonlight" on your computer and phone respectively, then you can stream whatever is on the computer to the glasses.
Also, you can open the phone camera and see it on the glasses. Pretty useful if you want to see what is on top of the cabinet without getting a ladder.
They do look kinda ugly though. Too forward on your face.
Also I don't like the 2 lenses setup, but I guess that's the technology's limitation.
Eine gute Wahl.
Ich fand die Rokid Max 2 aber besser da ich Brillenträger bin und da meine Dioptrim einstellen konnte
it is not good, technology still early
Li consiglio a chiunque.

My experience with these VR glasses wasn’t great. I sent it back as I believe this version is not yet ready for my expectations. The sound quality was poor and the reflection too intrusive. The case was not suitable for this type of product. The interface (buttons) was confusing. Maybe in a year or three technology would have moved on to the point where I would consider these type of AR glasses again.
