This course gives learners a working mental model of how modern generative AI systems behave and why. It's the companion to the 4D Framework: where that course teaches the human competencies (Delegation, Description, Discernment, Diligence), this one teaches the machine properties those competencies are responding to.
By the end, learners can look at an unexpected AI output and recognize which kind of unexpected it is, locate roughly where on a capability-to-limitation continuum their task landed, and respond with a targeted fix.

No, you don't need an Anthropic account to access this learning content. The course is hosted on Skilljar and only requires a Skilljar account for access. However, if you want to use Claude AI services after completing the course, you would need to create a separate Anthropic account at claude.ai.
