Well, I posted some pics from the ~$600 China Bridal Studio shoot back on June 22, and now I finally got our albums and some printed pictures with frames that the shoot included, so here I am, showing it off again. Well, firstly, it came with 7 printed pictures and 2 albums. Shown here in this picture, it actually only has five picture prints because the two extra-large ones (literally, I think one was poster sized WITH a frame, and the other is square and close to poster sized) were way too big to take back from China, so these are the small ones. ( pictureCollapse )And then there's also two albums, one smaller and one larger. It was pretty sturdy and made with thick cardboard or something. ( albumsCollapse )Let's look inside! Shall we? Warning: lots of pics!! ( Album 1Collapse )( Album 2Collapse )And I believe that I only posted a few behind the scenes and final pictures from the shoot, but if anyone's interested in the other pictures and behind the scenes, feel free to go to this link: http://s278.photobucket.com/albums/kk104/JAchina08/Taiyuan/China%20Bridal%20Photo%20Studio/(click the links on the left) So anyway, the two huge poster sized prints are still in China and may cost money to ship it, but hey, even if I add that up to the ~600 or so, it's STILL a lot cheaper than anything I can get in America, so I'm still content.

Oh I am SOO stoked. My invites are printed. Just 15 sheets, since I only need 30 invites and they are A5 in size. Now I need to get the order of service sheets finalised. I can buy more paper this weekend and then print them next week. Thank God for photoshop. and online manuals. and I must do a few mehandhi night invites. Now its just to plan my budget to the last cent, and figure out how to max my credit card at the last possible moment, so that payments are only due end of May when I get paid again. I wish that Eugene would get a bit more work right now. I need him to do at least enough to cover the rings. Otherwise maybe I should forgo the 18Kwhite and go for silver instead. Perhaps then we can upgrade to plat in a few years. It is after all only symbolic, and werent most celtic rings silver anyway? My engagement ring is silver, and I have oodles of gold because I'm the only girl and i never wear any of it. When he has a better income, he can buy me gold. And if I dont tell my family that its not gold, how are they going to know anyway? Nobody is going to see the receipts and its not their business anyway, since they are not helping to pay for the wedding.
Hi all, Name and/or Journal: Fiona / Immoline2 Role (Bride, Groom, other): Bride Age: 28 City/State/Country: Cape town South africa Heritage: Indian born in South africa Wedding Date: 6th May 2006 Number of guests: 80 Venue: The Castle of Good Hope Personal wedding website: http://www.weddingsutra.com/Eugene_Fiona/The pic is awful/ but its where he popped the question. How'd you meet your fiance: at our last job together. What's your story: 'Gene and I have been together for 540 days today. very happy ones too. Yeah, and the drama of trying to plan a wedding without resources is well.. dramatic. We've got the cook, the decor guy, the minister, the venue, the outfits, a piper(can you believe!) and thats about it. the favours are done, the invites will be soon, and of course I have the list of photographers in my hot little hand. No rings yet I'm afraid, or video guy. In fact at these prices I am seriously considering buying a camcorder since it will cost less. I am seriously in full blown panic mode. Um yeah..and its 81 days or 11 weeks and three days to go.....
