Today I went to get my first tattoo at located 19 Portland St., Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
The woman who did it is Colleen and I watched how sanitary she was-- she left the room a few times(for a second) and open the door with her wrists but still change her gloves when she came back.
It took a little over 2 hours to do this and it came to $200, $230 with tax and I tipped her $23 (10%).

With this being my 1st tattoo[s] my sister came with me and she knows what to look for in tattoo artists since she has 4 herself. The only thing that threw me off at the beginning is that Colleen does not have any visible tattoos herself. The place itself is very sterile... almost eerily sterile like a hospital, but that is a bonus to me!
Just wanted to share, especially since I've heard a few horror stories about this place, along with success stories, but this is a great place to go if you want a tattoo done with basic shading.
