Please stop making the package out of date, it's a git version i don't have to update the SRCINFO and pkgbuild. The package build fine for now, if it don't work it's because you don't have hyprland-git.

If anyone else is having trouble launching hyprland and getting libaquamarine.so.2 No such file or directory or similar, just launch a TTY and rebuild first aquamarine-git, then hyprland-git, and then reboot as normal:
paru -Syu --rebuild aquamarine-git
paru -Syu --rebuild hyprland-git
after that it should work normally
This improved patch has now been merged
If DisplayLink/Evdi isn't working out of the box for multi-monitors, and you are using a single integrated GPU (e.g. intel), see this issue here:
Before applying the workaround patch/hack mentioned in the issue, make sure to properly read the caveat.
please add libaquamarine.so to provides https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/aquamarine/-/blob/main/PKGBUILD?ref_type=heads#L27
@luthis Git version is automatically updated when you do
makepkg -sicC
I get
pkgver=0.9.4.r1.g11406cc
It builds fine then
When building hyprland-git, this error:
The following required packages were not found:
v0.9.4 was released in August. This package needs to be updated. It's still at 0.8.0
It builds fine for me
This package is currently broken for me. There are compile time errors for zero-size arrays. Anybody else?
There is a version mismatch between this package and the original one. I cannot update hyprland-git because of this.
@alba4k yeah sure it's possible
hey, I was wondering if you'd mind adding me as co, mainly so I could add this package to https://github.com/alba4k/hyprwm-pkgbuilds (with the other hypr* packages I maintain/comaintain)?
And maybe add @Vaxry as comaintainer too, I suppose it's probably not a bad idea to have him there just in case packages become orphans.
seatd isn't required for aquamarine and Hyprland to be built and work. See https://github.com/hyprwm/hyprland-wiki/pull/960
