Arch Linux User Repository

This binary package currently does NOT work as my understanding arch linux has moved to libavcodec v62-64 for the ffmpeg package:

https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/ffmpeg/

and the obs-studio package depends upon ffmpeg above:

https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/obs-studio/

A pull request (29) has been entered against the upstream project here:

https://github.com/dev47apps/droidcam-obs-plugin/pull/29

However, until the project offers a new binary release with the changes built in this package will not work correctly.

The upstream will be monitored and when a new binary is in place this package will be updated.

This package it seriously broken. We are now on ffmpeg6 so the zip that needs to be used is the badly named flatpak which contains the ffmpeg6 supported version. I tested.

All you need to do is replace source line with this

source=("https://github.com/dev47apps/droidcam-obs-plugin/releases/download/${pkgver}/droidcam_obs_${pkgver}_linux_flatpak.zip")

And before you say it, not it's not for flatpak, it's just badly named. I built n tested it, works great

Just change the version in PKGBUILD to 2.0.2 and it works. I also deleted the ja-JP.ini file because I do not need it.

This version crash, and is obsolete. Actual Version : 1.6.0

Consider downloading the last version from the official website at this address :

https://github.com/dev47apps/droidcam-obs-plugin/releases/download/1.6.0/droidcam_obs_1.6.0_linux.zip

Extract ZIP and run ./install.sh in user mode Plugin will be installed in $HOME/.config/obs-studio/plugins/

Tested with success 28 Nov 2022 with obs-studio-amf from AUR 28.1.2-2 and latest AMDGPU-pro drivers from AUR.

Everything OK.
