@Euler23 It doesn't list "tailscale0" or even "lo" in the preferred interface section. Only shows the public interface. I configure everything to listen on the local interface, so that I won't need a firewall.

@vnnd possibly. I know there is a setting under the network tab in the plex server settings to set the preferred interface, but I'm not sure how strict that is. Most people use a firewall like ufw to block incoming connections on the interfaces they don't want.

Is there an option to prevent it from listening on all interfaces (0.0.0.0)? In my VPS, I can't force it to listen only on my Tailscale interface (tailscale0).

@fryfrog probably because plex sent out emails to all users (as @crunk1 already said), telling them if they were linux users they had take action and update some gpg stuff because they migrated to a new repo (only affects people downloading directly from the plex repo, but they made it sound like all linux users will no longer get updates)

it was a badly worded and confusing e-mail on their part that any non-veteran linux user and maybe even some veteran users would be confused by if only skimming over it

@sphere101, what makes you wonder about it being unmaintained? 1.43.0.10492 is the current latest server version and 1.43.1.10540 is the latest plexpass version. They both download all the files in their PKGBUILD just fine.

So yes, they're still maintained.

Hello, Is this package still being updated/maintained? Thank you..

Plex sent out an email about a change in repositories. We shouldn't need to do anything as the PKGBUILD already downloads from the appropriate repos, right?

@frank1x I think that error is benin and can be safely ignored. amdgpus.ids should contain a list of AMD GPU PCI ID numbers in the format VVVV:DDDD where V is the Vendor ID and D is the Device ID. You can probably find the file in the mesa or kernel sources and copy it in place (or just make it an empty file) if you want to supress the error.
