@ParadiseofMagic No particular reason at all. I can either add it now and bump pkgrel or just add it from the next release.
Is there a particular reason why you are skipping checksums? You are able to do checksums on tagged commits and when I add them myself, the package builds successfully.
@tpaniaki ok - but, please note, the release version of qtile-extras is not meant to be installed alongside the git version of qtile. You should either use git versions of both, or the tagged release versions of both. Compatibility is not guaranteed when you do one git version and one release version.
@elParaguayo: apologies for the confusion. I built the qtile-extras-git after modifying the qtile dependency in the PKGBUILD (qtile -> qtile-git) and it installed fine.
I asked you to post on qtile-extras because you said the AUR package failed to build. But, from what I can see below, none of that log relates to qtile-extras. It seems you're trying to install qtile (as per the prefix at the beginning of each line) which is conflicting with qtile-git.
@tpaniaki Are you sure that's qtile extras? I've just built this package locally and none of those files listed in your post exist in the package. Are you trying to install qtile-git alongside qtile? That won't work for exactly the reasons you're showing.
Also, that qtile-git version references a commit that it not in the main branch so I suspect you've modified something else along the way.
