I know this community is pretty dead (I don't know about you guys, but I don't even use LJ except for checking the chemicalromance community!) but I just wanted to say hello to everyone in Australia and New Zealand, after what's been a wonderful tour! I hope this is okay for me to be posting, I figured one entry wouldn't be a big deal :]

I’m sure you guys agree that it’s been an honour being the last dates on the Danger Days tour, it’s been phenomenal, just so much fun! It's been a pleasure sharing smiles, laughs, high-fives, teary gut-wrenching “I just have so many emotionsss” moments (or was that just me?) and jazz hands with everyone!

Whether it was your very first time seeing MCR live, or the first time in years (remember when they supported Green Day with sideshows in 2005? ahhhh), I so hope everybody’s had a great time going to the shows and dancing to Danger Days tracks (it's about time we heard them live!).

There've been a lot of videos and photos uploaded to the mcr_unofficial tour community, which is awesome – it’s nice to actually be able to go "I was there!”

Can’t wait for the anticipation to begin again! After the punk-rock-apocalyptic-comic-book-colour-bomb (woah!) of Danger Days, it seems like the sky’s the limit for MCR’s creativity.

Here’s to many more great songs, fun shows and Mikey hair flicks! Until we meet again next tour ladies and gentlemen (fighting the urge to sign off with a Dr Death Defying quote, I will restrain myself)...

Don't know if anyone still watches this Comm, but its just been announced that My Chem are one of the headliners for this years Big Day Out.

I saw them at BDO in sydney in 2007, best festival lineup ever for me that year... looking forward to doing it again!

Just checking, because guess how long it's been since there was a post here? Hint: a long time.

But, with all these awesome things going on lately, (eg. the videos and MCR getting ready to release their new album) I figured we needed a post!

So to start, how do these new shenanigans make you feel? Who's excited? Who doesn't really care anymore ? Who else misses Bob :(? Who's still pissed about them cancelling Soundwave/their sideshow? Is it true they're releasing it here on the 12th (idk I think I saw that somewhere)? Are you gonna go to their shows when they tour here (NOT TOURING HERE IS NOT AN OPTION) Do you wanna dress up as a killjoy? Do you love it? Do you hate it?

Okay guys, I have the Gerard Way action figure and would like to get rid of it.
I have opened it and the miniature gun is missing, but other than that it is in PERFECT CONDITION and ive put him back in the packaging. I put it up on ebay and it didnt sell which I was a bit surprised about as I made it quite cheap.

Hi there! 

I was just wondering if anyone else has bought the Bullets vinyl (or anything else for that matter) from the Eyeball store? 

See, story goes that I pre-ordered from Eyeball in Jan (and had to pay for it, I hate it when you have to do that, they shouldn't charge until they ship.  But I digress...).  So then a few weeks ago I got an email saying there had been a glitch and I had underpaid for delivery (it was pretty cheap) and if I paid the difference then they would ship me my vinyl immediately.  So I paid the difference and then NOTHING!  My order status hasn't changed on the Eyeball store page (it doesn't even have record of the extra postage I paid). 

So I have emailed them twice, once to the address on the site, once to the person who sent me that email, and no response!  I'm freaking out and don't know what to do!  I don't want to come across as a crazy person, but I want my frickin vinyl - or my money back.  Any tips or words of comfort?

so about a year ago i posted here letting people know that i had seen the MCR dolls in my local whats new store.
well i was there today and again they had them in, many of them. there were at least two of each of them.
im not sure if all stores have them though since yesterday i was at a different store and they didnt have them.
so yeh, if you were after them its worth going down and asking them about it if you have a store near you.

For those in the Sydney area, there are plenty of copies still left at Kings Comics in the city if you haven't already gotten your copy of the Umbrella Academy.

They also still have several copies of the Jim Lee variant for $9.95, so go there quick to get your copy. There will be no one to blame but yourself if you leave it for too long and miss out.

And if you're lucky and get a lot of money over Christmas, Kings also has the Umbrella Academy Series One Limited Edition Hardcover trade paperback for $135.

I'm sure you all saw this bulletin yesterday on myspace. but here it is anyway.

hi! its bob

it's been a long time since since we have talked. i just wanted to say hi and fill people in on what has been happening with us. as a whole we are all getting ready to get rolling again. we really needed this break but enough is enough already. i cant wait to see the refreshed and excited MCR again. no more falling asleep at 5pm, no more drinking 20 red bulls, just good times coming up.


i will start with myself. my weird zoro scar on my wrist is going down finally. i have been doing physical therapy every few days now which is helping out a ton. i have to sit and lift tiny weights over and over again until i cant anymore, then i play with putty, then i stack cups, sometimes i squeeze plastic, play with rice, etc. It kinda feels like when i was in kindergarten day care except it hurts. my favorite part is hearing the stories of the other patients. one lady fell down her stairs because she tripped on her cat and broke her shoulder. i try not to laugh but i cant help it. i was actually sitting with a player from the bears last week too. that guy was about 20 feet tall and as big as a house. i didn't look him in the eye. i think i have a couple months before i am back to playing again. i am always going to have pain in my hand so i will be changing my playing a bit. i have to rearrange my drums and i will need to play waaay lighter. dont call me a p@$^y when you see me.


Other then that i am just hanging out. i got another dog! i now have two black german shepherds. they rule. they are my buddies. i am going to bring them everywhere with me. toro got a new puppy too. frank has 19 dogs now. i shot up up my garage with a pistol and the cops came. that was fun..... i also have been playing halo again. halo and legos is actually part of therapy for me. i just hit level 35 which is awesome for me. i would love to challenge anybody to a duel. my xbox name is dixiediarrhea (long story, my dogs name is dixie, she had diarrhea). if anyone knows souljaboy personally please let him know i challenge him. that guy seems like an awesome dude and i want to play against him. he says he can beat anyone. dixiediarrhea says differently. i will bet 2 dollars that i whoop him.


anyway, i see that im rambling. im tired. i was going to fill you in on everyone else but i dont want to anymore. hahaha. which actually brings me to a point. we are soon going to launch a new website. its going to be very simple and to the point. one of the new features will be us typing in on our phones straight to the site so everyone can tell you themselves what they are up to. now that we are coming out of MCR hibernation we want to keep everyone informed and to maybe have some fun. blogathon 5000. i will type in all the juicy details like perez hilton.


ok. im going to bed. me and my friend, the sanch, and dixie are about to drive from chicago to los angeles to hang with gerard and friends. come hang out.

We have all been anxiously waiting for June 24th. On this day, the DVD/CD entitled "The Black Parade is Dead" hits stores, online outlets, and other avenues. It depicts the final "Black Parade" show in all of its arena-rock glory, live from Mexico City this past Fall.

We also decided to include a video of the intimate show we had at New Jersey's legendary club, Maxwells, this past October. We played one of our very first shows on that stage, and it was amazing to be on it once again. These shows were some of the most memorable and fun we've ever had onstage. The kids at the Mexico City show actually overpowered the PA, and their voices were deafening. The Maxwells show was complete pandemonium, and the video captures the feeling of and old school MCR show, the way it was way back when. I want to apologize for the wait, as we wanted to make sure that it was absolutely perfect for your viewing pleasure.
