Members of the Balkan Insight team include highly skilled managers, editors, and journalists from the region and abroad and an experienced language team of locally based translators and proofreaders.
After working in different roles in BIRN from 2013, with some breaks, Milka assumed the role of Regional Director in December 2022.
Prior to that, from October 2021, Milka held the position of Head of Business and lead and oversaw development of both non-profit and for-profit projects, maintaining existing and establish new partnerships.
Milka also worked as a lead researcher designing and implementing one of BIRN’s major regional projects, pioneering engagement journalism in the Balkans. She was in charge of development of the Engaged Citizens Reporting tool, used by more than 50 media in the Southeast Europe.
In addition, Milka has a decade of experience in journalism and fact checking, having worked for the fact-checking portal Istinomer [Trutho-meter], the Center for Investigative Journalism of Serbia and Serbia’s public broadcaster. She previously worked as a journalist and translator for BIRN’s programme Balkan Transitional Justice, as well as a fixer for international media. She participated in the fellowship programme run by the International Factchecking Network, which she spent within the Pulitzer Prize-winning PolitiFact.
Milka was a Chevening scholar and completed an MSc in Marketing and Technology at Goldsmiths, University of London, which helped her improve her research and analytical skills, as well as discover new potential for successful media outreach.
Along with the native BCMS, she speaks English and has basic knowledge of French, Macedonian and German.
Matthew Collin is a journalist, broadcaster and author who has worked as a foreign correspondent for the BBC, Al Jazeera and Agence France-Presse.
He has also been the editor of The Big Issue, the Time Out website and i-D magazine.
He has worked in print, television, radio and online media and has written for a wide variety of newspapers and magazines, including The Guardian, The Observer and The Wall Street Journal.
His books include This is Serbia Calling and The Time of the Rebels.
Matthew joined BIRN in January 2013.
Marcus Tanner is Editor at Balkan Insight
Marcus studied theology at Cambridge before becoming the Balkans correspondent for The Independent from 1988 to 1994.
He returned to London to become the Assistant Foreign Editor of The Independent from 1996 to 2000 before leaving to write books on Ireland and on the Celts and to work briefly in Kyrgyzstan.
He has worked full time for Balkan Insight since 2006, while continuing to write leader-page articles twice a month for The Independent.
His published books are: “Ticket to Latvia”, Dent & Weidenfeld, “Croatia, a Nation Forged in War”, “Ireland’s Holy Wars”, “The Last of the Celts” and “The Raven King, Matthias Corvinus and the Fate of His Lost Library”, all published by Yale University Press.
He edited Marija Mestrovic’s “Ivan Mestrovic, The making of a Master”, published by Stacey International. He lives in London.
Matt Robinson is a journalist, translator and former Reuters Bureau Chief for the Balkans and Special Correspondent for Central and Eastern Europe.
Matt started in journalism with Belgrade’s Radio B92 in 2001, before spending 14 years with Reuters in the Balkans, the Middle East and former Soviet Union. He has reported from more than 20 countries, including Georgia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Turkey, Ukraine, Egypt and Greece.
In 2016, Matt was editor of the Balkan Fellowship for Journalistic Excellence. He re-joined BIRN in May 2018.
Nicholas was appointed editor of Reporting Democracy in 2020.
An award-winning journalist, he has worked for almost 30 years in Asia, the US and Europe, writing for publications such as the Financial Times, Politico Europe, TheStreet.com, Axios, International Herald Tribune TV and Knight-Ridder News. He was also co-founder and managing editor of Business New Europe.
Neil joined BIRN in 2016 as an editor.
He edits the Fellowship for Journalistic Excellence, BIRN’s annual bursary for long-form journalism. He has been an editor with the programme for more than seven years. He previously worked for the BBC News website’s world desk, and for flagship BBC radio and TV programmes.
He also spent two years in Iraq as an editor on media development programmes. His reporting from Iraq, the Balkans and the Caucasus has been published by the Financial Times Magazine, Vanity Fair, Monocle and BBC News. He graduated in English Literature from Cambridge University.
Gordana Andric is a Belgrade-based journalist and editor.
She first joined BIRN as a journalist in 2010 and later worked as a managing editor of BIRN’s English language website Balkan Insight.
After spending four years with BBC World Service, she now works with BIRN Serbia and Balkan Insight.
Andric has managed teams of journalists, investigative reporters and editors from more than ten countries across the Balkans and Black Sea region.
Gyula is an editor working on investigative international projects with Balkan Investigative Reporting Network, based in Prague, the Czech Republic.
An experienced journalist with a strong international (RFE/RL, BBC, Euronews) background in broadcast and online media, he is a BBC-trained trainer and Hungarian editor of Visegrad Guideline, a bilingual (English-Hungarian) code of ethics for Hungarian broadcast journalists. Gyula is a winner of the Pulitzer Memorial Prize with InfoRádió. He speaks English, Spanish and Hungarian.
Marian Chiriac has worked as a journalist since 1990, mainly covering politics and human rights issues.
He has reported extensively on most major events in Romania and the Balkan area, and teaches diversity reporting to journalism students at Bucharest University.
He became a regular contributor for the Institute for War and Peace Reporting in 1999, and in 2005 established BIRN Romania. Marian is the winner of the Net Media Awards 2003 – Best News Story Broken on the Net.
Besar has extensive experience in journalism, having worked in print, television and electronic media in both the US and Albania since 2003.
Besar has been the editor for BIRN Albania since 2007, and serves as the country correspondent for Balkan Insight.
Based in Belgrade, Milica works on stories related to transitional justice in Serbia.
Before joining BIRN, Milica worked, for five years, at the Center for Investigative Journalism of Serbia (CINS), where she covered topics such as the judiciary, energy and public spending. Prior to CINS, Milica worked as a journalist and the daily/weekend editor at the online news portal Telegraf.rs.
As a member of CINS team, she won the 2017 European Press Prize for investigative journalism. She got an annual award for investigative journalism in 2015 from the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia. She holds seven domestic and international awards in total, alone or as a member of CINS team, for stories about the judiciary, corruption, or the environment.
Sinisa-JakovMarusic is a Skopje-based journalist and regular contributor for the news and analysis sections of BIRN’s online publication, Balkan Insight.
Since 2007, Sinisa has covered Macedonia’s political, social and economic developments, especially those linked to Macedonian post conflict society and transitional justice.
Perparim Isufi joined BIRN Kosovo in May 2014. He edits and writes news, analyses and investigations for KALLXO.com and Gazeta Jeta në Kosovvë.
Isufi has been working in journalism for 12 years at several outlets in Kosovo. He also spent more than three years as a Press Assistant at the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, where he maintained contacts with Kosovo media.
He studied political science at the University of Prishtina.
Hamdi Firat Buyuk is a political analyst who joined BIRN in 2016 as a correspondent and he has been covering Turkey and occasionally Bosnia and Sandzak region for Balkan Insight.
Before joining BIRN, Firat worked in think tanks and media as a political analyst, journalist and editor and joined several projects on his areas of expertise. Firat’s pieces and comments on Turkey, Turkish foreign policy and the Balkans have appeared in Turkish, Balkan and international media houses including Radikal, Gazete Duvar, PolitikYol, Euronews, Aljazeera Balkans, The Economist and Foreign Policy.
His academic work includes a book chapter entitled “Partners or Security Challengers? The Implications of the Presence of Turkey, the Gulf States, and Iran in the Western Balkans” at the Peace and Security in the Balkans published by Routledge and an academic article entitled “Measuring Turkey’s contemporary influence in Bosnia and Herzegovina: myth and reality” in the Journal of Southeast European and Black Sea Studies.
Firat holds an MSc degree in international relations from the University of Essex, England.
Firat speaks Turkish, English and Bosnian.
Based in Belgrade, Ivana is an editor of BIRN’s Digital Rights Programme.
Before assuming the new role, Ivana spent five years as Balkan Insight’s deputy editor. Previously she worked as an investigative reporter/fact-checker at the Center for Investigative Journalism of Serbia during a five-year period between 2012 and 2017 and was Deputy Editor-in-Chief at the same organisation between 2017 and 2018.
As a part of the Center for Investigative Journalism of Serbia team, Ivana is the European Press Prize and Anthony Lewis 2017 laureate. She has also received the Balkan Fact-checking Award 2017, which under the auspices of the International Fact-Checking Network, was established with the aim to encourage citizens and journalists in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia to focus on the articles based on fact-checking. Ivana has been fellow and the 2nd place prize winner of BIRN’s 2018 Balkan Fellowship for Journalistic Excellence.
Ivana studied at the the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade.
She speaks Serbian, English, and Spanish.
Xhorxhina Bami reports on daily developments in Kosovo and also writes feature, analyses, reviews, interviews, and investigations. Originally from Albania, Xhorxhina been living in Kosovo since 2015.
Her previous experience includes working as a freelance journalist in Kosovo for publications such as Kosovo 2.0, Insajderi and Periskopi, as well as an economic researcher for EU project “Further Support to Trade in Kosovo at the Ministry of Trade and Industry”.
Xhorxhina was featured in Italian media’s Osservatiorio Balcani e Caucaso Transeuropa book “Scoprire i Balcani” (“Discover Balkans”) where one of her Kosovo 2.0 articles has been published.
She participated in a programme for young journalists called the “Shadowing Mentorship Program”, which consisted of working in an immersive course alongside a journalist mentor.
Xhorxhina was awarded for her article: “Asset Allocation after Divorce by Kosovo’s Judiciary”, in an event organised by NGO INJECT, which was supported by E4E and financed by USAID.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts and Sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology, Kosovo campus with a certificate of semester completion: HAMK University of Applied Arts and Sciences, Finland.
Xhorxhina speaks Albanian, English and Italian.
Sasa joined BIRN in 2020 as a correspondent for Balkan Insight. Previously, he has worked for Balkan Insight from 2015 to 2016.
He has also worked for Insajder, the Serbian investigative media portal and a television show in Belgrade. As a part of Insajder team, he worked on documentaries involving political corruption, financial crime and social and workers’ rights. He is the co-author of the investigational documentary entitled, “State against the Workers”, about financial crime in Gosa, Serbia’s railway line factory, author of the documentary, “Bristolska straza” (Bristol guard), about homeless war veterans, and of the documentary “In a Vicious Circle”, which dealt real estate fraud in the country.
During his journalism career, Sasa has published articles in Serbian and regional media, such as the investigative portal KRIK, weeklies NIN and Vreme, daily Danas, the fact-check portal Istinomer, Vice Serbia, Kosovo 2.0 and others.
Sasa has a bachelor degree in journalism from the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade and speaks Serbian and English.
Azem joined BIRN in 2022 as a correspondent from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Based in Sarajevo, he reports on daily developments for Balkan Insight and the Balkan Transitional Justice programme. He covers politics, rule of law and human rights, transitional justice, corruption and organised crime, producing in-depth analysis and features combining elements of data journalism and multimedia storytelling.
He started his career in the youth newsroom at Bosnia’s public broadcaster, BHRT, where he covered a range of topics for different radio shows over the course of three years. At the same time, he was a reporter with the Press Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina, working on a production of a radio show on media ethics, self-regulation and media freedoms.
For five years he was part of Deutsche Welle’s Balkan Booster project, where he gained experience in mobile journalism and video storytelling, while reporting from Western Balkan countries.
For more than three years, he worked in different production companies as producer of festivals and events, documentary films and series, as well as live TV and radio programmes.
He holds a degree in physiotherapy, but has been working in media since high school. He attended various informal education programmes, such as Press Council’s School of Media Ethics, BH Journalists’ Press Academy, Media Center’s Data Journalism Camp and reporting on minorities with Sarajevo Open Centre.
He is co-author of the book From Empire to Republic; Stories from Central Europe, 100 Years After the End of the Habsburg Monarchy and several other publications.
He speaks Bosnian, English, and some German, Spanish and Albanian.
Serbeze Haxhiaj is covering issues related to establishing justice and facilitating reconciliation after the 1998-1999 Kosovo war. Her particular focus is on war crimes, human rights issues, rehabilitation of victims and peace approaches in dealing with conflict and its aftermath.
She is currently an editor at Radio Television of Kosovo and a journalist for the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN). She has previously worked for the daily newspapers Rilindja, Zeri, Lajm and Koha Ditore. She was the correspondent in Pristina of the French Courrier des Balkans. Her articles were also published in some of the main newspapers in Europe and recently she had articles published in The Financial Times, Der Standard, Neue Zurcher Zeitung and Al Jazeera.
For her reporting on war crimes, organised crime, corruption, human rights and violence against women, Serbeze has been awarded 12 times by various local and international organisations.
Based in Prague, Jules has joined BIRN Hub in December 2023 as Reporting Democracy’s Czechia correspondent.
He previously co-founded and worked as editor-in-chief of Kafkadesk, a news and analysis website on Central Europe, and has contributed to various other English and French-language media outlets covering Czech and Slovak affairs.
A former student of Charles University in Prague, Jules is a public affairs and political science graduate from Sciences-Po Paris. Raised in a bicultural French-British family, he also speaks German, Spanish and Czech.
Eleni Stamatoukou is Balkan Insight’s correspondent in Greece, writing on current affairs and producing features, analyses, reviews, interviews and investigations.
Eleni joined BIRN Hub in 2021 as Communications Manager. She is a data journalist based in Athens. She has worked for Greek and foreign media and the NGO SolidarityNow.
She has covered a big range of issues: migration, the refugee crisis, corruption, LGBTI and human rights, politics, business, sports, media, environment, health and culture.
Eleni was a Fellow of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and Columbia Journalism School 2019.
She has a BA in Balkan Studies from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and an MA in Social Anthropology (Europe) from Sussex University, United Kingdom.
She speaks Greek, English, Turkish and Serbian.
Based in Chisinau, Madalin Necsutu has been Balkan Insight’s correspondent from Moldova since 2017. He is a political and investigative journalist who specialises in Eastern Europe and the politics of ex-Soviet states in the region.
He has worked as a journalist since 2006 for Romanian media outlets like the Mediafax news agency and daily newspapers ZIUA, Curentul and Evenimentul Zilei.
He was awarded for his political and investigative stories in Romania by the Romanian Professional Journalists Union in 2016; won the prize “European Reporter in 2017” by the European Commission; and has been awarded in Moldova by the UN Development Project in 2016.
He graduated from the Faculty of History in Bucharest, Romania, where he also completed an MA in International Relations. He did his postgraduate studies on diplomacy and is now doing a PhD in history in Chisinau, Moldova, where he has been based since 2015. He speaks Romanian, English, French, and basic Russian.
Based in Budapest, Edit is reporting about Hungary for the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network.
She was formerly the Foreign Editor and Berlin Correspondent of the leading daily, Nepszabadsag, and the foreign policy analyst for the business weekly, Figyelo.
Edit holds a PhD from Corvinus University Budapest and has MA from ELTE University Budapest in English and Spanish philology.
She speaks Hungarian, English, German, Spanish.
Katarina joined BIRN Hub in December 2023 as a correspondent for Serbia. She is based in Belgrade and is responsible for daily news as well as in-depth stories and analysis.
Previously she worked in media in Serbia and has extensive experience reporting on the economy and politics.
From March 2021 to November 2023 she worked at the monthly magazine and portal Nova Ekonomija (New Economy), primarily reporting on economic topics, healthcare, gender issues and public spending. Before that, from 2016, she was working at Istinomer, a fact-checking media outlet founded by the Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA).
She was part of the team the British Council awarded for one of the best article and video features in the regional “Young Journalists Competition”, and also awarded for the best media article “Drugačije od drugih“ (Different from others) by the Conference of Towns and Municipalities, for the best article on female entrepreneurs.
Katarina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Communication from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade and is currently she is at the end of her Gender Master studies at the same faculty.
Along with her native Serbian, she speaks English.
Ada Petriczko joined BIRN Hub as Poland Correspondent in December 2025. She is based in Warsaw and reports on politics, human rights, social justice and regional affairs, with a focus on investigative and long-form journalism.
Previously, Ada worked as a freelance journalist and foreign correspondent, with reporting published in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Boston Globe, Context and Gazeta Wyborcza. Her work spans investigative features, analyses, profiles, interviews and multimedia storytelling. Over the past decade, she has reported from Europe, South Asia and South America.
She began her career as an online editor and contributing writer at Gazeta Wyborcza, a leading Polish daily newspaper, and its magazine titles, where she covered gender, culture and social justice – themes that continue to shape her reporting today.
She later served as Poland Correspondent for the NewsMavens platform, focusing on democratic backsliding and human-rights developments. Between 2018 and 2020, she worked as a freelance foreign correspondent based in New Delhi, India, reporting on gender and social issues. In 2022, she joined The New York Times Live desk during the outbreak of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, later contributing feature reporting, including a five-month investigation into conflict-related sexual violence in Ukraine.
In 2018, Ada was nominated for Best Feature Writing at Poland’s “Wrażliwy” journalism competition, which highlights socially engaged and ethically responsible reporting. The nomination recognised her reported feature about the Indian model and acid attack survivor Reshma Qureshi.
In 2021, Ada was selected as the IWMF’s Elizabeth Neuffer Fellow from a pool of more than 100 applicants worldwide. During the fellowship, she reported for The New York Times and worked at the Opinion desk of The Boston Globe. She also conducted independent research on media freedom at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Center for International Studies.
Ada studied English and Drama at Goldsmiths, University of London, Liberal Arts at the University of Warsaw, and narrative journalism at the Polish School of Reportage. Along with her native Polish, she speaks English fluently and has a working knowledge of French, Spanish and German.
Vuk Tesija joined BIRN Hub in February 2023 as a correspondent from Croatia. He is based in Osijek, Zagreb and Hvar, trying to cover all relevant news and processes in Croatia.
Previously he worked as a correspondent for the Deutsche Welle, an editor in the daily Glas Slavonije, a journalist at CIN Sarajevo, a correspondent for the daily Jutarnji List, and occasionally worked with a dozen other media. He wrote his first articles on a typewriter more than 25 years ago.
Along with his native Croatian, he speaks English, Macedonian and some Russian.
Fjori joined Balkan Insight in February 2021 as a correspondent in Albania. She is based in Tirana and responsible for daily news as well as in-depth stories and analysis.
Previously, she worked for a local media outlet in Albania focusing on investigations and human rights. She was part of Resonant Voice Fellowship in 2020 by BIRN.
Fjori studied journalism at the University of Tirana.
Svetoslav Todorov joined BIRN Hub as a Balkan Insight’s Bulgaria correspondent in 2020, right before the onset of the pandemic and the beginning of the anti-government protest wave in Bulgaria.
The increase of disinformation in Bulgaria amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine and recurring ideological clashes in parliament are integral topics to his work. He is based in Sofia.
Todorov’s original background is in arts and culture writing, while also covering topics dealing with history, education and human rights.
In Bulgaria, he wrote and edited for the news website Dnevnik.bg (2010-2014), the business and politics weekly Capital (from 2014 onwards), independent magazine VIJ (from 2016 onwards), and has also contributed to international outlets such as Romanian fact-checking platform Veridica, the German newspaper Die Tageszeitung, and the Bulgarian branches of Granta magazine and Esquire.
Todorov has experience also as an art curator and speaker at events organised by the Sofia International Literature Festival, the Rhodope Documentary Film Festival and Romania’s Alternativa Sociale.
He graduated in Bulgarian Philology and Visual Culture from Sofia University’s Faculty of Slavic Studies. Alongside Bulgarian, he is fluent in English and French.
Gjergj Erebara is journalist for the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network, BIRN, in Albania.
Since 1998 he has worked as a journalist for various print publications, electronic media and televisions. He has a bachelor degree in Journalism and Master of Science degree in Economic History from University of Lund.
Sven Milekic joined the Balkan Insight team in May 2014.
Sven was working with the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in 2011 during the RECOM Campaign for collecting signatures. He was also working as a coordinator of the Transitional Justice Program from November 2011 and as local advocate for the RECOM campaign from September 2012.
Sven Milekic is born in Zagreb and graduated on the Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb. Prior to YIHR he was involved in Amnesty International Croatia.
Anja Vladisavljević joined the Balkan Insight team in May 2018.
Anja worked as an editor for the Croatian edition of the French monthly newspaper Le Monde Diplomatique from 2015 to 2017. She also worked as a journalist, editor and translator for regional website Bilten.org from 2017 to 2018.
She graduated from the Department of History of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Zagreb University.
Based in Bucharest, Marcel covers current affairs and writes features, interviews and other content on Romania since June 2019, when he joined the Balkan Insight team.
Before joining BIRN, he has worked as a foreign correspondent for EFE Spanish News Agency in Romania, South Africa and Venezuela, and has been published as a freelancer in several Spanish and international publications.
Based in Belgrade, Igor started working for BIRN in 2020.
He has a diverse skill set in illustration, graphic design, animation and video production. With a background in design from high school and the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Igor has honed his creative abilities to bring ideas to life through visual storytelling.
Balkan Insight’s biggest investigative and long-form stories have his visual signature. His style has formed Balkan Insight’s unique visual identity.
Igor prefers to illustrate investigative stories, as they are more personal and include a human factor, unlike global news stories.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Igor finds joy in family life as a dedicated father and husband. In his free time, he indulges in passions for custom keyboards, Studio Ghibli movies and music, adding depth and inspiration to his creative endeavours. With a blend of artistic talent and personal interests, Igor continues to explore new horizons and share his unique perspective with the world.
Based in Sarajevo, Tommaso joined BIRN in 2022. He is part of the Social Media team, taking care of BIRN’s social media channels in English.
Tommaso is a founder of FuoriFuoco, a network of under-25-year-old journalists covering Lake Como in Italy. He worked for five years as a journalist for “il Settimanale della Diocesi di Como”, a local weekly mostly covering environmental, educational and civil society-related topics.
Tommaso holds a Bachelor degree in political science from Università degli Studi di Milano. He speaks Italian, English, Norwegian and just a bit of Bosnian.
Danijela joined BIRN Hub in December 2023 as a Social Media Manager. She is based in BIRN Hub’s Belgrade office and is responsible for developing, quality control, and implementing program-related and overall BIRN visibility actions, using social media channels.
Danijela is an experienced Communications Specialist with a strong background in nonprofit and social organisations and foundations. With over 14 years of experience, she is skilled in content writing, copywriting, social media management, digital marketing, and event management.
Thanks to various courses and education, along with experience, she has a high level of knowledge and experience of working on different digital tools, platforms and programs.
Previously, she mostly worked in the nonprofit sector in communication and digital marketing, and in social media positions. Some of her favourite experiences were at Foundation SOS Children’s Villages Serbia and Foundation Catalyst Balkans.
Danijela graduated in Journalism and Communications from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade. In addition to her formal education, she finished the Alternative Gender Studies Program at the Center for Gender Studies in Belgrade and attended various courses and education related to PR, marketing, communications and digital marketing. Along with Serbian, she speaks English.
Tijana joined BIRN Hub in August 2024. She is based in BIRN Hub’s Sarajevo office and provides support to the Social Media Team.
Her main responsibilities include production of digital and social media content, developing new digital products and boosting the presence of BIRN Hub and its websites, on a number of digital platforms.
Before joining BIRN, Tijana worked in the NGO and marketing sectors, and has extensive experience in communications, project coordination, content creation and social media management.
Tijana holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bihac, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to her formal education, she continues to build her skills in digital marketing, communications, and social impact work.
Besides Bosnian, she is fluent in English.
Based in Belgrade, Aleksandra joined BIRN in October 2023 as a Communications Manager. Her main responsibilities include developing and implementing communications strategies and work plans, designing promotional campaigns, and working closely with the programme departments, social media team and editorial team to ensure its content reaches target audiences.
Previously, Aleksandra worked as a journalist and a Social Media manager and has extensive experience in journalism, communications and Social Media.
For three years, she worked at the EU Info Centre in Belgrade as a Social Media Officer and was responsible for the EU Delegation’s SM accounts, amongst other things. During this period, she also gained valuable experience in project communications. She has been awarded by the Serbian Public Relations Society and the 2020 EU Delegation to Serbia for the campaign “They Are Heroes”.
Aleksandra studied at the Faculty of Political Sciences, at the University of Belgrade. Her major was Journalism and Communications. Also, she has an MA degree in Social Policies. In addition to her formal education, she has attended various Social Media courses and seminars. Along with her native Serbian, she speaks English and a bit of Greek.
