[ICON CHALLENGE] beexsam Community Icon Voting!  

Captain Midol made it impossible for me to get functioning until now so let's go!

Rules for Voting on Community Icons: These icons are all eligible for becoming the user icon for this community, so please read the rules before you vote!

-You can vote for yourself.
-Please choose three (3) icons that you think would best represent our community. Not necessarily the prettiest - just the ones that would make people go "There are those beexsam people, they look like such a nice group!"
-The top 3 icons will be sent to the SUDDEN DEATH round. If there's a tie between two icons (say one has 21 votes, one has 19, and two have 16) I'll just send both to the final round. If there's a tie between 3 or more icons, I'll make a tie-breaker poll.
-Any questions? Comment and ask.
-None of the iconmakers names are posted here, because this is all anon. for now. The winner will be announced at the end of all voting.

[MOD-ish?] Just a bunch of announcements  

3 things.

First, tonight's Midnight is the deadline for the icon contest. For those of you who have time/energy and want to pop a few in, go here.

Second, we have 193 members, and yesterday was our 1 week marker. So guys, I'd just like to say that I've never been happier I wrote a fic. You guys are all awesome and amazing and other adjectives with "a" in them.

Third, though I love you all dearly and am so glad you're all here instead of not here... Please tag your entries! I quite frankly don't have time to go through and tag everything and damn it, I wanna be able to find all the delcious smut you guys write! So please keep in mind that we have a full tagging system and as long as your fics have tags, they won't get lost in time. (It's less important with introductions and stuff, but fics/art really need 'em.)


THAT'S IT, I'm gonna go take my notebook to the movies again.

The BeeXSam Community Icon Challenge Extravaganza!

Everyone sounded fairly pleased about this idea, so we'll go ahead and do it.

For Voters/Makers: Keep in mind that we're not looking for the prettiest, most beautiful icon in the world. Pick the icons that you think best represent our community, even if it's not the most lovely icon in the world. This icon is going to be practically the first thing most newbies see when they reach our delightful land, after all!

I'm making the deadline this Saturday, July 14th. I know I said next Thursday, I realized that that might be too long a wait. So Saturday, 11:59 PM Pacific Standard, is the deadline, and all entries must be in by then.

If you have any questions or if I haven't made something clear, please feel free to comment on my previous post about the challenge, or IM me at Devilish Kurumi. (I'm up until 3 AM, PST usually, and the ":ninja:" away message is just a facade!)
