Before we get to voting I want to let everyone know that the community will going on Hiatus for a while. At this point I'm not sure for how long.

Next I want to say how very sorry I am for not getting voting posted sooner. This is one of the reasons for the hiatus. It seems like I'm always apologizing for being late or forgetting to do something and that is not fair to you members. I know I'll get inspired to come back to this community at some point and start posting challenges again, but right now is not the time. Also, it seems interest in the community has waned with less and less entries to the challenges. I recognize that this could be due in part to challenges, voting, etc. not being posted in a timely manner. And I understand that. So it's better to take a break and come back when I feel more inspired.

Now on to the voting. First, really beautiful icons everyone! Thanks so much for entering the challenge. Let's vote! :)

Welcome to Challenge 127 – Poppies

Hi everyone, for this challenge I thought I would throw a couple of techniques into the mix to make things more interesting. Nothing complicated.

The first technique is multiple images. So at least one of your icons should have two or more images incorporated. It can be the same image twice or different images. There is no limit to how many multiple images you may have in an icon. If you need examples let me know and I'll add some to this entry.

The second technique is on the opposite spectrum – Negative Space. At least one of your icons should be a negative space icon.

If you decide to use your own images they must be images of poppy flowers, their seeds or fields of poppies. You know, there just needs to be poppies of some kind in your icons.

The special categories will reflect the techniques. They are Best Multiple Image Icon and Best Negative Space Icon

Hey guys, sorry for my lack of reminders--but you guys have done great.

Icons are due this wednesday (the 25th), so you still have a few days. Also--I work Wednesday, so it will either be late that night before voting gets posted or it will be Thursday afternoon. Just wanted to give you a little advance notice.
