I just couldn't believe it.  My gf Steph called me up to say she'd read the liner notes of the latest CD from my favorite band and there it was  ". . .most importantly a big thanks to all of our fans who are best personified by Shirene [that's me], Gia and Felicity [fellow Brazzavillianas]"- David Brown

I had a really horrible weekend on top of a really bad week before that, and I swear this made up for it all.  I was hoping that today would be better than yesterday and the day before,  my hopes and expectations have been exceeded!  I'm smiling from ear to ear.

1:31PM - Sometimes I'm such a teen

I left this comment on the  Brazzaville  Mypsace page. on 8/22/05:

"I've been listening to "Hastings Street" nonstop for a week. I can't wait to hear everything live again, now I will be able to sing along. 'Old Folks' and 'It Only Hurts/Hong Kong Cafe' are fast becoming my top 2 favorite love songs of all time! Thanks for being a wonderful music maker."

Thanks for the note a while back. I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying Hastings Street. All is well here. We are hard at work on a new record. Hope all's well.

This is why I still LOVE this band after all these years.  David Brown Rocks! He still takes the time to write messages and talk to his fans, particualarly me, and this just makes my day.  So now I feel special not "special bus special" but actually SPECIAL! 

There's more, but I don't want to use up all of my posting ideas in one week, so I'll save the rest until I can no longer stand it.
