College Advising Services

Appointments with college advisors can be booked through Calendly. Students can view the CDSS Calendly  webpage for more information. In-person and remote zoom appointments are available for the following advising topics:

Drop-ins are available to all UC Berkeley students. To connect with drop-in advising, check the calendar below for hours and SUBMIT THE ONLINE INTAKE FORM. The intake form is only open during drop-in hours. Please note that these are limited to 10-15 minutes and are typically for time-sensitive inquiries. The CDSS drop-in advising calendar contains the latest updates on the drop-in schedule.

Courses and Requirements

Students who were admitted to Berkeley prior to Fall 2024 have the option of completing their CDSS degrees by meeting the L&S requirements or the CDSS course requirements. Beginning Fall 2024 and onward, newly admitted students must meet CDSS course requirements and policies.
