Hi all,
I'm finally back in the UK, it feels like i've been gone for ages! *lol* I had a fab time tho, both in Orlando and Miami.... it has been non-stop celeb spotting! *lol* I'll give you all a quick run-down on my trip, if you are interested, read on... if not, then stop now! *lol*
Arrived in Orlando LATE Thursday night local time, and ended up totally wasted, a combination of jetlag and vodka! Was planning on going to a theme park the next day, but all we could manage was a visit to the nail salon for a manicure/pedicure! *lol* On the following Monday we went clubbing at Roxy, at a club night run by Rich Cronin [ex-LFO], and JC was there, which was a nice surprise! Drove down to Miami on the Wednesday, arriving quite late, we were planning on saving money and staying at the Days Inn, but that went pear-shaped when we arrived to find that our room hadn't been cleaned and then the room they moved us to had bugs on the bed! Stayed for one night, had no sleep because we were too busy on 'bug watch', and then swiftly moved to the much classier Eden Roc the next day! Spent the day sun-bathing and the night drinking way too many cocktails thanks to Brian at TGI Fridays on Ocean Drive! *LOL*
Went to the party at Mansion on Friday night, which, i personally thought was a total waste of time, i can't believe they blocked the dancefloor off! Oh well, at least my money went to charity! Saturday, i ended up sunburning my back thanks to the late start of the Skills event, but all that was forgotten when Usher walked out... i'm still in shock that Usher was there, i love that man so much! I had like a five second time delay when they said his name, i turned to my friend and was like, 'did they just say Usher?'! *lol* So that made my weekend! On Sunday we went to the b-ball, and then to the party at the Shore club, where, through a combination of knowing people at BMG and JT's bodyguard Randy, we got into VIP which was really cool, free booze, loads of cute guys and Usher! I was dancing feet away from him at once point! So all in all, i had a very good CFTC weekend. And then, we went back to Orlando on the Tuesday and went to the NERD gig only to be surprised by Justin joining them on stage for the almost the entire show! I also saw Erik [ex O-Towner] three times, i swear by the end of it, he was certain i was stalking him! But i wasn't, honest! *lol* So as i said earlier, a very celeb filled vacation! I'm only sorry i didn't get to meet up with anyone from this community... maybe next year, huh?!
