The City of Darkness is a massive stone and metal juggernaut found on the west coast of the Realms. The capitol of the Realms of Darkness, a sprawling city/state that is home to every race of creature above and below, it boasts a population three times the size of all other cities in the Realms combined.
The City, as locals refer to it, was created by Drakken Malfeitor during the Age of Ascension, literally calling it forth from the ground…which to this day scholars argue whether or not the City already existed, and if it did was it an ancient Founder city or something else? Regardless, the City is comprised of towering buildings that block the sky, a complex tunnel system, and every conceivable size and shape of building in between in an amalgamation of what appears to be Founder architecture with its columns and ornate fixtures to Outlander building designs with plenty of iron and mechanical constructs. The City is truly the wonder of the Realms, and even those who do not live there frequently visit to admire it and listen to scholars debate its origins.
The City and Realms alike are ruled by Drakken, and its laws are enforced by his loyal council of Elders. On any given day you can catch any number of Elders holding court in the City Square, hearing arguments, debating City politics, or often times watching the citizens milling about to and fro in the busy marketplace. However, various Elders perform a myriad of duties, most of which are unknown to citizen and scholar alike, and to waste their time with trivial matters is a mistake, as such could cost you a night in the Keep at best, or at worst finding the back of your breeches suddenly aflame from an ill-tempered Devil.
The City stretches over roughly 12 miles in diameter, with several existing levels below the City streets. The City is divided into 6 sprawling districts and of course the infamous Under City.
Rule 1; No flamewarfare. This is your common bickering and telling people to "Sod off".
Rule 2; No mentioning rape, even in a joking manner. This is a touchy subject, and it is never ever funny.
Rule 3; No discrimination. Some of us deal with this everyday in reality, why should we deal with it online? Disobeying these rules will have you removed.
