👋 hi, i'm val (she/her || they/them)

i've been everywhere, from css and js to boot firmware. i like type systems, monads, sandboxes, kernels, protocols, parsers, simd registers, pcbs, just lots of things. don't like real numbers at all though. those are too hard

i'm best known for TiddlyPWA, libraries like systemstat and secstr, the SoundFixer add-on, contributions to FreeBSD, Wayland, Firefox, Linux and more. now i'm also on the Qubes OS team working on making the glorious wayland+gpu future real \o/
