There is a reason why www.drivenfaroff.com is alive today. A band changed my life in 1998 with their witty music style that was something so new to my ear my life took a different path down the road. This band was Blink 182. As of late rumors starting flying that the band had broken up. Well this is true and not true.

I didn't believe anything because Blink is not the type of band to call it quits. They have grown older in this state of music and they all have families now. The band posted this on their website today:

"For over a decade, Blink-182 has toured, recorded and done non-stop promotion all while trying to balance relationships with family and friends.

To that end, the band has decided to go on an indefinite hiatus to spend some time enjoying the fruits of their labors with their loved ones. While there is no set plan for the band to begin working together again, no one knows what tomorrow may bring."

Did Blink 182 break up? No. It's hopefully a temporary retirement, but it's nothing to get our hopes up over. The band has no current plans to record anything new as of now. My heart goes out to everyone who was ever touched by this band like I was. It's not so often a band can change one's life into something totally new with just their music.

Hey Everybody, I just started my own blink-182/blink-182 icons community, where I'm going to be posting all my own icons on and where you guy can post yours.  It's sorta like this community, but we're going to have contest and MODs.  So if you wanna be a MOD, please apply, the application form is in the info.  We also have request forms in the info also.
