I am making myself a sewing tote, but I forgot to cut out the gusset for the outside pocket, and I don't have any more of my main outside fabric to make one. There is some lining fabric left, but I'm not quite sure how much.

The zippers have been added to the side with the elastic, but not to the side with little pockets yet.

Any ideas on how I could improvise an outside pocket without the gusset?

I've asked my sewing teacher, but she and I have two different opinions about how to interpret the instructions; so, I thought I would ask y'all to see what y'all think.

sunday, 10:30am.
we will meet up at bilken's cafe for breakfast.

i think they close around 11:30, so we will need to move to another location for crafting. any ideas?

we will go to my house after breakfast.
