Bought a ticket for a runaway train
Like a madman laughing at the rain
A little out of touch, a little insane
It's just easier than dealing with the pain

I held her hand as we stood there, waiting in the lobby,with people rushing around us, the sound like a river crashing madly. There was a clatter as something fell over nearby and I pulled her close as she howled in fright, I stroked her pale hair as she wept, shaking. Someone finally took notice of us, if it was the tears or the blood seeping though her bandages, I'm not sure. Pansy clung to me,weeping into my breasts as I held on tightly wanting to protect her. This war had claimed enough lives, it wasn't taking her's.
