It was something you saw a lot in potions class; a bubbling mottle green mess with a mere addition of one item became something new and important. There seemed to be no way of telling if an action wold cause the desired outcome until it had been done, though Draco knew some of the subtle secrets. Still, the blond was frustrated, for people, unlike potions, did not act in measurable manners all the time, and he was unsure what action was the right one to get the outcome he desired. So here he sat trying to figure out Potter's catalysts.

Harry sighed. Slumping down, his eyes closed for a moment before he opened them and looked at the moon drenched pitch he could see from his perch in the astronomy tower. They had had another fight; not a surprise. He supposed they had been doing it so long, but to Harry, the problem seemed very straight-forward and he didn't know why Draco didn't seem to understand. The best way, after all, to get a smile out of him was not some random act of malice, a flashy flaunting of wealth or show of strength. He only wanted to be loved.
