Windows are about your view or perspective on what is going on around you. Opening a window reflects your wish to let other people com into your life or influence you in some way. If you are on a high floor, you are looking at life from up high: that is, you are objective and think rationally about the view or situation. A window in the basement is looking at your primal self and therefore you're exploring your emotions about an issue. If you are climbing out of a window you are possibly trying to avoid emotional commitment.
