Hi ladies!

Just wanted to let you know that we have finally decided on our logo.

Initially we had thought about doing a pin up but between Rusty and I we couldn't decide on her hair color. (Dark or blonde, imagine that.)

Then we threw out that idea and we will be unveiling it soonly.

So, keep your eyes peeled and your feet on the floor....

As requested I am making an introductory post:)

I am Vivica Cherry, aged 21, living with my fiancee in Hull, UK. I have also recently become a Dynamite Dame which I am very excited about! My modelling styles are inspired by the 1950's, lolita style innocence, erotic gothic, medical equipment, blasphemy and the military. I enjoy collecting gothic dolls and gas masks, listening to bands such as Scarling, Black Sabbath and Adam and the Ants and I greatly admire Bettie Page, Joan Crawford, Marilyn Monroe, Loretta Young, Lauren Bacall and Elsa Lanchester.

I hope to make friends with some other dames and fully explore my modelling potential :)

Lovliest Ladies:

We have recently hooked up with Celisa, a student at Goddard College in Virginia (Ah, the power of the internet!!!) and have the opportunity to get a lot of promotion for the website, and do something wonderful for Fat Activism.

She is doing an art project and has chosen to focus on beautiful fat people. Her basic idea is to have all different kinds of people take pictures of themselves holding up a sign that says 'I'm ______________ and beautiful.' Everyone will be able to form their own word to describe themselves.

Rusty and I thought to say Dynamite or Explosive something pertaining to the website.

In return for our pictures she has agreed to promote our website in her project. She is also thinking about extending her project to an online deal, and when and if that happens we will feature her project and the pictures on Dynamite Dames and link exchange and what not.

This will be wonderful for our website, giving us some really great content and it's a wonderful way to take the word 'fat' back!!

Let me know if you are interested, and I can send you a copy of her photo release.

Attention all,

We are under some heavy construction these days! We've decided to add a simple guestbook for people to come and show their support. We also would just like to see who has been paying attention to us, and what they think thus far.

I'll also take this time to ask all of you for some help. If anyone here knows of anyone wanting to help out with the site, we are looking for help in the following areas:

Programmers with knowledge of website security.
Programmers with knowledge of database management (i.e. user/password management.

If you know of anyone interested in donating their services, please have them email, it would be much appreciated.
