FlowerLeaf is a modern Symphonic metal band originally from Brazil, now based in Germany. Founded in 2017 by vocalist Vivs Takahashi and bassist Marcelo Kaczorowsky, the lineup also includes guitarist Luca Schulte-Kellinghaus and drummer Florian Mathes. [1][2]

Band history

[edit]

Their debut album Stronger (2018) featured guests like Marina La Torraca (Battle Beast, Exit Eden) and Mylena Monaco (Sinaya), and marked the beginning of their journey through elements of symphonic and power metal. Since then, FlowerLeaf has evolved into a heavier and darker sound.[1][2]

FlowerLeaf's journey took a turn in 2019 when Vivs and Marcelo relocated from São Paulo, Brazil to Düsseldorf, Germany. This move marked the beginning of a new chapter, bringing together a lineup, touring schedules and participation in festivals such as FemME, in the Netherlands.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, FlowerLeaf released several singles, collaborative tracks like "We Will Stand" and performed at various festivals across Europe like Brainstorm (NL) and KillerZ (DE).[3] With their performances and a growing presence in the European scene, they've shared the stage with bands like Xandria, Serenity, and Temperance.[4] In 2026, they also toured with Edenbridge.[5]
