Masato Sumi (Japanese: θ§ι δΊΊ, born 17 March 1994) is a Japanese Greco-Roman wrestler. He competes in the 87 kg weight category.
Career
[edit]Sumi won the bronze medal in the men's Greco-Roman 87 kg event at the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China.[1]
He became the silver medalist at the 2018 Asian Wrestling Championships in Bishkek and later won a bronze at the 2024 Asian Wrestling Championships also held in Bishkek.[2]
Sumi placed 18th at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships.
