Shimotaki Station (下滝駅, Shimotaki-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Tamba, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West).[1]

Shimotaki Station is served by the Fukuchiyama Line, and is located 68.7 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Amagasaki.

History

Shimotaki Station opened on May 25, 1899 . With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company.
