This template can be used on talk pages to introduce discussions about a page or topic for which the objective is to reach consensus. Find subst count and examples of this template on User talk pages using this advanced search.[2026; 2025; 2024] (Patience; this may take a while.)

Usage

This template takes a single parameter: the text that is to be displayed in the message box. 

 {{Consensus |[Place text here]}}

produces:

[Place text here]

If you are including a URL in your text, you must supply the parameter |1=.
