Hello! I'm Tol Wassman. I mostly do project-focused/backlog work. I do write some articles, but I mostly write code. Feel free to leave me a message on my talk page — I appreciate feedback!
I run a bot, TolBot; I also have a legitimate alternate account for testing purposes, TolTest. I have other testing accounts; you can see them at Special:Log/newusers/Tol.
Some pages:

Introduction & scope
[edit]
These licensing terms were last updated and are effective as of 3 June 2025, and are intended to be backward-compatible with (i.e. no more restrictive than) all previous revisions.
These terms cover all edits to the English Wikipedia made by this account, , and all alternative accounts disclosed on or by this user page. This includes, but is not limited to, User:TolBot and User:TolTest, as well as any accounts that I have created through this account or another disclosed alternative account.

Standard Wikipedia licensing
[edit]
Under Wikipedia's copyright terms, all of my text contributions on and after 7 June 2023 are licensed under the CC BY-SA 4.0 and GNU FDL licenses.
Under previous revisions of Wikipedia's copyright terms, all of my text contributions prior to 7 June 2023 are licensed under the CC BY-SA 3.0 and GNU FDL licenses.
My additional licensing
[edit]
In addition to Wikipedia's terms, I hereby agree to multi-license my text contributions to the English Wikipedia as follows:
All of my text contributions are released under the CC BY-SA 3.0 and CC BY-SA 4.0 licenses. (Thus, all of my text contributions — regardless of time — are licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0, CC BY-SA 4.0, and GNU FDL.)
All of my text contributions that I marked as a minor edit are released under CC0 1.0.
Each of my text contributions is released under the terms that, after 50 years from the date of publication, it shall be released under CC0 1.0.
Previous versions of these terms:
| Mix | This user has been influenced by too many dialects of English to use one orthography, vocabulary and grammar consistently. |
| i + | This user has made over i contributions to Wikipedia and, as a result, may be slightly insane. |
| they? | This user dislikes the singular they grammatically, but sympathises with the desire for gender neutrality. |
| — | This user gets very annoyed when people use hyphens when they should be using dashes. |

For working on this request. I also like your method of showing the diffs for edit requests - it's very creative! (Although I sure wish we had a way to do that automatically... I'm working on it!) Enterprisey (talk!) 07:07, 25 September 2021 (UTC)

| For reviewing at least 25 articles during the drive. Thank you for reviewing or re-reviewing 41 articles, which helped contribute to an overall 1276-article reduction in the backlog during the drive. And an extra thanks for creating the leaderboard software that made this drive possible! (t · c) buidhe 12:40, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for quality reviewing of new pages, for gnomish improvements such as adding template:authority control, for explaining "you need to copy edit the draft for tone and remove vague but positive wording", for the quiet Stanley Kubrick RfC close that ended a decade+ of warring, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!
