Latvia hosts Gibraltar on March 31st in the second of two matches for a place in the the third division of the UEFA Nations League.
In the first leg last week, Latvia recorded a narrow 1:0 victory thanks to a Vladislavs Gutkovskis penalty, but as this is a two-leg fixture with the winner on aggregate emerging victorious, there is still plenty to play for.
It would be a mistake to take Gibraltar lightly: history records that in 2018, Gibraltar achieved their first ever victory as a FIFA member... against Latvia.
