Expect police on roads over Easter in Latvia

The State Police will step up their monitoring of public order and road safety on Friday, 3rd April, police said.
The police will maintain this heightened presence until 7th April.
Special attention will be paid to drivers who are under the influence of intoxicating substances or alcoholic beverages. Attention will also be paid to compliance with speed limits.
Intensified checks are planned on both major national and local roads.
