Why should I register?
If you just want to look up words, registration is not necessary for you.
You may want to register if you are a regular user of the
translation forum, if you want to
improve the vocabulary database of dict.cc by contributing new or proof-reading existing translations or if you want to use the advanced features of
my.dict.cc.
Benefits for registered users
You will get a
personal page on dict.cc (the URL will be ).
This page can be used to describe yourself or your company, offer translation-related services and link to your homepage.
If you're a regular contributor to dict.cc's vocabulary, you will have
your votes count double whenever you're logged in. Experienced users can even have up to 5 times the voting power of unregistered users. The voting power (the importance of your opinion) will be increased by the administrator, based on your previous work. That's why it would be good to be logged in when you contribute to the vocabulary.

Paul, the administrator of dict.cc. It will not be given away. Its sole purpose is to be able to send you a password in case you forgot it and to enable the administrator to get in touch with you if this should become necessary.
