Contest Rules

This contest is open to anyone who downloaded the trial of our participating librairies.
See below for full contest details. Participation in this contest constitutes your fill and unconditional acceptance of, and agreement to be legally bound by these contest rules.
CONTEST PERIOD
- Users can participate in this contest every 3 months. On the 15th of each month, until the end of this contest (undefined), one (1) winner between all participating librairies will be drawn.
ELIGIBILITY
- The Contest is open to people who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry, except employees and its affiliated companies or agents.
HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To participate in this Contest, you must:

- Download the trial of our participating libraries.

- Fill out the contest form and submit feedback.

- Answer the email sent from info@zzzprojects.com to confirm your email is valid.

You will receive one (1) Entry in the Contest when you give us feedback as described in Section 3 in accordance with these Rules. LIMIT (1) ENTRY PER PERSON/COMPANY DURING THE CONTEST PERIOD, your participation will be entered automatically for 3 months following your first entry or until the end of the contest. You can only win once, if you win a license your name is withdrawn from the other contestants for the following monthly draws. If it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than once during the Contest Period, then all your Entries will be void. Use of any automated system to submit Entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
DRAW AND WINNER SELECTION
On the 15th of each month until the end of the contest (undefined), one (1) eligible entrant will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
Before being declared a winner: The selected winner will be contacted by email and notified that they won. Winner's names, feedback, company names and website URLs will be posted on this page, on our social media pages and newsletters.
All prizes must be claimed and activated within 12 months of the winner being notified. After this period, the prize will be considered forfeited and no longer valid.
PRIZES
- Grand Prize: There will be one (1) grand prize per month available to be won, consisting of a Free License between participating libraries including support & updates for one year.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or convertible to cash.
If the winner already bought a license, he/she receives a new license for the following year. Your license would be automatically renewed at the expiry date of the current library.
GENERAL
By entering the Contest, each participant agrees to abide by these Contest Rules. This Contest is subject to all applicable laws. Void where prohibited by law.
ZZZ Projects reserves the right to cancel, suspend, withdraw or amend this Contest in any way, without prior notice or obligation, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond our reasonable control that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Contest Rules.
All Entries are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. ZZZ Projects reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility.
Any attempt or suspected attempt to use robotic, automatic, programmed, or otherwise, illicit means to enter the Contest, or any other methods not authorized by these Contest Rules shall be deemed as tampering and may disqualify you from entering, participating, winning prizes and preclude you from participating in future contests and promotions.
Your email address will only be used for follow-ups to entrant inquiries limited to the administration of the contest and not in any subsequent electronic marketing without consent.
Past Winner (One every month!)
A project that was doomed to failure due to the enormous time it took to record the data obtained for statistical analysis was saved thanks to the huge performance increase we experienced!
Processing that used to take hours and hours to complete now takes minutes, allowing for constant data updates and greatly reducing the lag in the analyzed data!
Without Dapper Plus, months of analysis would have been wasted!
One of the projects I'm working on is for pipe-delimited HL7. I've been testing our top 10 largest records and it expands out (when normalized) to 100k rows over 11 tables.
Using the Z.Extensions BulkInsertAsync for all 3000+ main records (that expand) with a little tweaking I got it inserted in around 4 minutes (over VPN so mostly network saturation).
When I tried doing it with opensource Extensions - it was around 16 minutes and that with me tinkering with every setting under the sun.
I've since found spots I needed optimize and kicked the time down (talking directly to SqlBulkCopy), but that's not really the point.
The Z.Extensions BulkInsertAync "just worked" and now with my improvements I bet I could get it nearly under a minute.
I might have to install it again and see what I can do.
What this libraru does is something special with just base EF entities.I've been making Data Tables and IDataReader implementations to try and cut time.
