Book

Made under extreme conditions in 2025, the independent film From GAZA with LOVE gives voice to children in Gaza, the first victims of the war. Often unheard, their testimonies carry particular weight, embodying both innocence and the hope for a future being torn from them, along with the land they belong to. Co-directors Charles Villa and Suhail Nassar will attend the Festival to present this previously unseen work and to speak about the conditions in which it was made. They will also reflect on the vital role of independent journalism at a time of widespread disinformation, in a conflict that has become the deadliest in the world for journalists.

Documentaries - Out of Competition

Before the war, Suhail Nassar was a graphic designer. Today, he documents the lives of children in Gaza so they are not reduced to silence or statistics. Charles Villa, a French journalist and YouTuber, is barred from entering Gaza, like all foreign reporters. From 3,200 kilometres away, the two connect and work together on this film. It captures a generation growing up under Israeli airstrikes and traces the emergence of an unexpected friendship shaped by distance, trust and urgency.
