See, we'd love to welcome everyone with open arms. Unfortunately, we realize that probably isn't the best option for the community. We're not going to be strict, by any stretch of imagination, but we would like applicants to own journals .
That doesn't mean you can't get in on the fun if you joined livejournal, say, yesterday.
Apply anyway, and drop us a (polite) comment here, with the subject , if you've been rejected and would like to discuss your status. We're real friendly with the right incentives (so don't yell at us!), and we'll review each rejected journal on a case-by-case basis.
