Como se dice '1 in 5' in espanol?

Quiero decir que 'only 1 in 5 young people move from a temporary job to a permanent one every year'

He intentado pero no sé si es correcto:

Solo un jóven en cada cinco pasa a un trabajo temporal hasta un trabajo fijo cada ano

Si por alguna razón te interesan tales discusiones, puedes ubicarlas con la función de búsqueda (aunque, *bostezo*, se necesitan unas cuantas bebidas energizantes y suficientes bocadillos para poder atravesarlas todas...)

May I butt in with a grammatical correction in English? Laeramoose started this thread by asking how to say “1 in 5 people move” and suggested a good answer (“uno de cada cinco personas pasa”).

As far as I know, 1/one/uno/una is singular in both English and Spanish. Therefore, “uno pasa”/“one move.” That’s true no matter how “one” is modified or where it’s located.

Please, in English say “ in five people ” just as you would say in Spanish “ en cinco personas .” One is the subject of the verb, not people. “In five people” is merely an adjectival phrase modifying “one.”
