acto funcional

Good morning!

Can anyone help me with the translation of the following, especially acto funcional?? I'm really stuck!

"...desembolsando el valor de los titulos atribuidos a Vd. en el mencionado acto fundacional con el importe que les hemos prestado con esta fecha a tal fin."

paying the value of the deeds conferred to yourself in the aforementioned acto funcional with the value that we have lent you with this date to that end.

In one place you call it an acto funcional, in another an "acto fundacional"; it would help to know what kind of document we are talking about, as the Spanish custom is to stand on your head to avoid repetition: water becomes "el líquido vital," etc., and "escritura," "fallo," "sentencia", "orden ejecutoria," etc. all becomes "actos funcionales"] to know whether you are referring to a judicial order, an administrative order, or a recipe for peanut-butter cake.

Thank you so much David!! I had actually misread acto funcional, it was acto fundacional. Which I presumer refers back to la escritura de constitucion of the company (Founding Charter, no?). The document is a 'documento de fiducia'.

No problem Sally. You are referring to the Company charter (I think that's what you Brits call the "Articles of Incorporation." But you get the idea!
