Yesterday, when I listened to a piece of news from NPR,the word "aesthetically" the journalist used in it confused me.What the journalist said is "The family members cheered aesthetically as they watched the Phoenix Rescue Capsule arrive surrounded by the miners."
I want to ask whether the use of "aesthetically" here makes sense?
Hello, Edward. Are you sure that the journalist didn't say "ecstatically"? That adverb would make sense. "Aesthetically" really doesn't make any sense in that sentence.
