Effect and affect, those words are similar in meaning that is what I am taught.
However, I would like to know some more.
How different situations those work can be used?
Please, tell me examples so that I can distinguish which word can be used in particular situation.
"Effect" is most always a noun: "The medicine had an effect on his fever."
"Affect" is a verb: "The medicine affected his fever."

X Y
X has on Y
I have always thought of "affect" as a verb and "effect" as a noun.

Your actions will have no effect.
Your actions will not affect me.
