Affirmative - Negative

Affirmative: He is a good man.
Negative: He is not a bad man.
Affirmative: Rakib is an honest boy.
Negative: Rakib is not a dishonest boy.

I have found somewhere on the internet.
Some one please comfort in conveying above examples. Will you do a favour to me?
These are good examples of double negatives which, in English, convey a positive idea by denying a negative -- it gives a feeling of understatement or modesty. It's called litotes, and if you look that word up on the Internet you'll find other examples. We aren't allowed to give lists on this site.
👁 Thumbs Up
To enlarge just a little on what Keith says, it’s far from negative to say, for example, that something’s “not bad”. In fact, it’s a common way of expressing a very positive view of something (although it can also just mean OK – i.e. quite good but nothing special – depending on the context and the speaker’s intonation).
Dear experts,

The examples which I had mentioned is valid or not. I am a little bit confused. When I was in Pre-high school, I was taught to put "not " after auxiliary to form in negative.
For example,
He is good at English
He is not good at English. ( Negative)
Would you clear my doubts?
