What does it mean when people say "aha"?

Context: this guy said to me: " aha if you want to pay for a phone i can register under a fake name and a text message pack ill text you"




and before this i was talking about something else completely.




When is "aha" used?
It's used when you've just realised or understood something - when "light has dawned".
Yes, it is used when you've just realized something or come up with an idea - I don't really understand the reason for its usage in your example, but then I don't know how the conversation went.
