- It has come to our attention that you have not yet completed a basic first aid training course. All employees must have first aid training every two years.

- What does "first aid training" in this context?

It refers to courses related to how to behave in a situation in which somebody has suffered for instance from an injure due to his/her work. ( using plasters, bandages , ....) And so on .

This is a course, not a session. The course may have several sessions. A "session" is one meeting.

For example, a "first aid training course" might consists of five 30-minute meetings, on 5 different days. Each 30-minute meeting is "one session". The whole course is "five sessions".
